1. Who We Are
OnTrack is an independent app built in Western Australia, designed to help you track your goals, habits, and routines. If you have questions about this policy, reach us at support@ontrackjourney.com.
2. The App - Data You Create
OnTrack stores the information you choose to enter, such as:
- Destinations (goals)
- Moves (habits)
- Rhythms (routines)
- Actions, notes, reflections, and related content
This data is created and managed entirely by you.
3. Where Your App Data Is Stored
- All data is stored locally on your device
- OnTrack does not require an account
- OnTrack does not sync data to the cloud in this version
If the app is uninstalled or your device is reset, locally stored data may be lost.
4. Import and Export
OnTrack provides optional tools to manage your data:
- Export: Back up your data as a file stored on your device
- Import: Restore data from a previously exported backup
Exported files are not encrypted. You are responsible for storing backups securely.
5. What the App Does Not Collect
In the current version of OnTrack, we do not:
- Collect personal identifiers
- Require user accounts
- Use cloud storage or sync
- Collect usage analytics or crash reports
- Track usage behaviour
- Share data with advertisers
No personal content is transmitted off your device by the app - see Section 8 for the limited purchase data involved if you subscribe.
6. Our Website - What We Collect
When you sign up through ontrackjourney.com we collect:
- Your first name
- Your email address
- Your platform preference (Android or iOS)
We use this only to send you launch updates and early access information. We will never send spam or share your information with third parties.
7. Email & Third-Party Services
We use MailerLite to manage our email list. Your signup data is stored securely on their platform. You can read MailerLite's privacy policy at mailerlite.com.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or request full data deletion by emailing support@ontrackjourney.com.
Future versions of the app may introduce optional services such as cloud backup or accounts. This policy will be updated before any such features are enabled.
8. Subscriptions & Purchase Data
When you subscribe to OnTrack Premium, payment is processed by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) - we never see or store your payment details.
To manage subscriptions and unlock Premium features, OnTrack uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives limited purchase information - a randomised app user ID, purchase tokens, and subscription status - not your name, your email, or any of the content you create in the app. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Your Moves, Rhythms, Destinations and everything else you create still never leave your device.
9. Children's Privacy
OnTrack is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your Rights
You can request to view, update, or delete any personal data we hold about you at any time by contacting support@ontrackjourney.com. We'll respond promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as OnTrack evolves. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top and, where appropriate, communicated within the app or by email.
